I don’t care why he has autism.
There’s no shame in the things that make us who we are.
It doesn’t matter how many times we have to go over it, we will.
You have to experience what someone else went through to appreciate how they go through it.
This 2016 post was the first time I had written about my son’s autism.

Just because someone is verbal, doesn’t mean they should speak.
It wasn’t me, as much as I want to pretend it is.
I’m his father. I view him through the rosiest glasses of all.
My boy is happy. He expresses it every day.
