New Year. Same Me.

When it comes to making yourself a better person, the only expiration is the day you die.

I’ve made a lot of changes since that day in 2012 but it didn’t happen overnight…

Please don’t tell my wife and daughter, but on a day-to-day basis, my son is usually the easiest one in the house to handle.

You’re not perfect. You’re not awful. You just are.

I remember it all. Every trip and fall, every stumble down the low road, I have it all filed away in my head.

I pulled all the walls down and spoke to them as plainly as possible. I wasn’t hiding anything about who he is.

As strange as it may seem to someone who isn’t in a similar situation, my house didn’t feel “alive” anymore.

Just as you can convince yourself that life is miserable, you can do the opposite.
