Hoping But Not Needing

As the parent to a child with Autism, it pulls me back to the early days of his life…

Not the “Autism Awareness” where you are aware of what Autism is.

Autism or not, sing to your kids. Even if you, like me, never sing for anyone else, do it for them.

The negatives that are always so bright in our faces can usually overpower the positives that they create.

He smiles big and I can see that he knows it’s special. He knows it’s for him.
