Positively Fed-Up

Sometimes those golden sentiments of happy-happy joy-joy work in the opposite direction.

Everything started to get cancelled. Basketball, school, Tom Hanks…The sky hadn’t fallen yet. But, man, it felt like it was closing in.

On this day, in this room, for this concert, my main goal was to make sure we stayed until the finish.

There are some days when I am in awe of his nerve.

Honestly, kids aren’t the ones who need to pen letters to Santa Claus anyway.

I’ve had a lot of broken washing machines in my life. Only one was literal and the rest were all figurative.

I’m ready for anything. I’m not excited about it. I’m not looking to have long talks about it. But I am prepared for it.

We were angry over-reactors literally headbutting the walls at the bar. Every glance from a stranger was a reason to defend your honor.
