No Eating The Laundry!

No blankies in sight. That’s when he goes on the hunt like Elmer Fudd at Bed, Bath, and Beyond.

He wants what he wants when he wants it and will ask you repeatedly.

Between quarantine and Summer break, it feels like he’s been in there for eons.

He won the standoff. He always wins the standoffs.

It’s not even five in the morning. Let the games begin.

He’s my guy, so of course, I give in…momentarily.

Lucas marches to the beat of his own drummer. And that drummer is Dave Grohl in Nirvana smashing his drums into oblivion every morning.

I can’t treat him like I would another child who’s disobeying me due to a lack of respect. That’s not what this is.

Helping him out isn’t just about us doing things for him. It’s also about teaching him to do things for us.

Yesterday’s impossibilities become today’s milestones before our very eyes. If you’re too busy worrying about tomorrow’s goals, you’ll miss them.
