Writing “The Expectant Father’s Activity Book”

From the moment I heard the concept, I knew it would reach far beyond dads-to-be and grab onto everyone withing arm’s length.

Sometimes within minutes of posting, I turn around and do the exact opposite thing in my own life. Yeah. Exact opposite. Hi Blog. I’m Hypocrite.

I can’t just lay in bed all day. I have kids and responsibilities. Even if I didn’t, I still can’t stay in bed all day.

You don’t know what’s missing because you don’t even realize a piece should be there.

This wasn’t a debate or disagreement. This was performance art.

Whatever your situation is, no matter how universal it might feel, know that it’s different for almost everyone.

It was one of the best and most timely things I ever gave her.

You’ll have to forgive me if all of this is still a bit raw.

Sometimes those golden sentiments of happy-happy joy-joy work in the opposite direction.

I know we’re not supposed to mention those things. It makes us uncomfortable, but we’re all adults here.
