My Baby Is Almost My Height

I guess I should probably mention that my baby is ten years old.

In those moments where it is just him and me, I’m more honest with myself than at any other points of my day.

My non-verbal son has taught be a form of communication that has come in handier than I ever dreamed.

VMAPP, IEP, CSE, SEPTA – people start using them around you as if you know what they mean.

There’s no peak he needs to reach in order to make me see him as a success. He simply has to keep climbing

You don’t have to make peace in order to be at peace.

There’s only 11 months left to Autism Awareness month.

The clapping, yelling, and jumping are just part of who we are. We not only endure it, we relish in it.
