Wherever My Child With Autism Ends Up, It’s Not A Failure

The clapping, yelling, and jumping are just part of who we are. We not only endure it, we relish in it.

Once you do, you see the beautiful picture that’s obscured by the seemingly missing pieces.

The things I don’t talk about greatly outnumber the things I do.

So far in the rear view mirror, they don’t even appear closer than they are.

I’m not a superhero, Warrior, or anything other than the dad to two of the best kids on Earth.

If my boy never does these things, I accept that, because I love him.
